Ballarat Northern Knights

Northern KnightsA vibrant part of Interclub is the Ballarat Northern Knights Australian Football team, formed in 1993 and since 1997 a member of the Football Integration Development Association (F.I.D.A) which is in turn part of the Victorian Amateur Football Association (V.A.F.A). FIDA caters for 18 clubs throughout Victoria and provides an environment which enhances fitness, fun, friendship and a sense of belonging. These all in turn enhance players life skills and self esteem which extends well beyond the actual game.

Season 2010

This year F.I.D.A are holding a series of grading games to kick of the season the details are as follows:

  • Round 1 Parkville 11th April – Knights 1 v Broadmeadows 1 (11.30am)
  • Round 1 Parkville 11th April – Knights 2 v Mambourin (1.00pm)
  • Round 2 Mazenod 18th April – Knights 1 v Mazenod 1 (11.30am)
  • Round 2 Mazenod 18th April – Knights 2 v Mooney Valley 1 (1.00pm)
  • Round 3 Ballarat 2nd May – Knights 2 v Kananook 2 (12.15pm) – Ballarat North 2nd Oval Creswick Rd Ballarat
  • Round 3 Ballarat 2nd May – Knights 1 v Kananook 1 (1.30pm) – Ballarat North 2nd Oval Creswick Rd Ballarat
  • Round 4 Parkside 16th May – Knights 1 v Parkside (times to be advised)
  • Round 4 Knights v Ovens and Murray (times to be advised)
