A vibrant part of Interclub is the Ballarat Northern Knights Australian Football team, formed in 1993 and since 1997 a member of the Football Integration Development Association (F.I.D.A). FIDA caters for 18 clubs throughout Victoria and provides an environment which enhances fitness, fun, friendship and a sense of belonging. These all in turn enhance players life skills and self esteem which extends well beyond the actual game.

The Ballarat Northern Knights Football Club is supported by BEST Community Development and is also reliant on support from the community through sponsorship and fundraising to cover the cost associated with the teams competing in the league. A small committe of volunteers and coaches work tirelessly each week to support the teams to travel to Melbourne to paly. Our costs include, but are not limited to, transports, assistance with registration fees, uniforms, ground hire and medical equipment.
